An introduction to core areas of Spanish psycholinguistics: speech percepti on, word recognition, language comprehension, language production, first la nguage acquisition, bilingualism, language disorders and aphasiology. Goals : 1)to introduce students to the key findings and central debates within ps ycholinguistic research; 2)to introduce students to the tools and methods o f psycholinguistic research; 3)to introduce students to research practice; 4)to manage effective interaction within the intercultural context. Student s will develop an experiment design, and collect/analyze data. Depending on their performance, students will be invited to work and/or volunteer at th e Bilingualism, Translation, & Cognition Laboratory.
