EDCI 8186: Globalization, Urbanization, and Urban Schools

Explores globalization locally and internationally, with special emphasis on how global development processes are impacting urban communities and schools. The course investigates conceptual and theoretical issues underlying globalization, and their influence on the production of knowledge, educational policy, and school curricula.
