ELED 6263: Social Action and Advocacy

Advocacy and social action are distinct yet interconnected ways to effect change. Advocacy involves actively speaking in favor of a cause or issue, while social action encompasses a broader range of activities to create positive social change. Social action often involves mobilizing communities around schools and groups to address systemic issues and promote fairness. This class will explore the characteristics of both social and advocacy to create change in and beyond educational institutions.
