MDSK 5204: The Connected Classroom

Teacher education candidates analyze the complex ecology of the modern classroom in order to create a learning environment that establishes and connects student success and well-being. The course shares research-based strategies to address the academic and emotional needs of students from a variety of backgrounds. Additionally, the course introduces issues, policies, and strategies for modifying standard instruction for students with disabilities and those identified as gifted.
