TESL 5103: Methods of Teaching English as a Second Language

For current and future teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL) to master a variety of approaches, methods, and techniques of teaching ESL and other competencies prescribed by the state of North Carolina. Section information text: First half term course runs Aug to Oct. See Academic Calendar for start/end dates. This course has required Zoom synchronous sessions on the following Mondays: 8/24, 9/14, and 9/28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. This course is required for the Graduate Certificate in Teaching (GCT) English as a Second Language or MED programs. Only GCT English as a Second Language candidates should co-enroll in TESL 5104 Term B.
