MDSK 6262: AI and EdTech in the Classroom

Explores the role of education technology (EdTech), with a focus on AI/GenAI, in middle, secondary�and K-12 education. Students will develop the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate these tools into their teaching and education leadership by developing engaging lessons, implementing technology-enhanced assessments, and promoting digital literacy and responsible digital citizenship. This course also addresses the ethical considerations surrounding the integration of EdTech in middle and secondary education, including questions of access, academic integrity, student privacy, and data security.
